Pathfinder Leadership Coaching is owned and operated by Stephanie Phillips, managing partner of Stephanie Phillips, LLC. As a former public school administrator and current executive coach, Dr. Phillips provides high-quality coaching and mentorship to leaders at all levels and offers leaders at any level the opportunity to reflect and explore options as they progress through their careers. We believe in people who want to show up as their best and positively influence and impact those around them.
Pathfinder Leadership Coaching assists leaders in finding their intrinsic aspirations to accomplish meaningful goals. When engaged in the pursuit of goals, leaders encounter obstacles that may seem impossible to overcome. Through coaching, leaders learn about themselves and gain confidence along the way.

About Me
Allow me to share a little bit about myself with you! I served in Texas K-12 public schools for 31 years as both a teacher and an administrator at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. My service began as an elementary teacher, and I came full circle, retiring as an elementary principal. Upon retirement in 2016, I had the opportunity to serve as a Professional Service Provider (PSP) until 2019. I then joined the Region 16 Educational Service Center School (ESC) Improvement Team as a support specialist and an internal Effective School Framework Facilitator. In 2021, my journey led me to Southern Oklahoma where I currently serve as the Cameron University Master of Educational Leadership faculty lead, while continuing to serve as an external Effective School Framework facilitator. I am currently partnering with Region 16 ESC as an executive coach in the Texas Strategic Leadership (TSL) Program. As my career has progressed, the milestones along the way have led me to coaching.

My passion is to build value in people and help others discover joy in their journey. Positivity and belief are my top two Clifton Strengths and my spiritual gift is exhortation. Aligning my strengths and motivational gift inspired me to integrate coaching and mentoring into my role as a leadership coach. My Pathfinder logo, while holding personal meaning, is a symbol for helping leaders chart a course for excellence. Since 2016, I have been blessed to work with and develop current and future leaders as they navigate uncharted waters.

As a lifelong, native North Texan, I have lived through some droughts as well as bitterly cold winters. When reflecting on the various seasons leaders go through, I think of times of drought when some insightful water helps cultivate parched intervals; or cold winters where reflective fires are stoked to continue to burn, staying warm and engaged. My goal as a leadership coach is to have a positive impact on people’s lives and help others find water in their deserts and re-ignite fires that have grown dim.

On a personal note, I love to spend my free time sitting on the patio in the evenings with my family and two dogs, admiring how God paints a unique masterpiece at sunset every night.
